small and precious moments...and yes we're still here!

I've been terrible about blogging the last month and a half and will spend time catching up next week (spring break).

Lately, I just can't seem to get enough of our girls. I find myself standing and staring, watching their sweet little hands dig through toys, their eyelashes bat through blond hair as they play. I just want to freeze them in time, my treasure to cherish forever, but as all things must, they will grow and I'm trying to make the most of every moment! A few treasures I've stored in my heart this week have left an imprint that will last.

Yesterday, in the middle of crazy random weather, the sun decided to peak through the clouds in the late afternoon. The girls and I had music on and were dancing. Eden wanted up and just clasped her warm little hands around my neck. We danced through the sunshine, and chased big sister, I love the care-free spirit they bring out in me!

Today we had gorgeous sunshine and the girls and I ventured out for a long walk to Fred Meyer. Ezri had saved some money and had big plans of purchasing something special. The girls had on their sunglasses, with snacks in hand we headed down the street singing "we're going on a bear hunt" and the "hokey-pokey". Ezri picked out a princess camera and some markers and coloring pages for Sister. Eden fell asleep on Ezri's shoulder and woke up half-way home. The last stretch home, I had a sweet view of two pairs of pink converse waving in the air!

Thank you Ezri and Eden for the life you bring Daddy and I through your joyful and innocent little spirits!
